I love cactus, probably as a result of growing up in the desert, but I especially love prickly pear when it’s in bloom. Here is a recent shot taken along Highway 71 from Brownwood to Austin. If you look closely inside the flower, you can see a bee.
I’ve been challenged to post a picture of the day on FaceBook, so I figured it made sense to post them here as well… Some will be taken with my professional camera, such as this one. And others will be taken with my iPhone, which actually takes really good pictures. Enjoy!
